The Christianpost reported on April 13, 2013, that "The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking" star Tami Erin got arrested on the charges of assault on her male roommate.
Previously, the 38-year-old Erin became popular for her role as Pippi Longstocking in the 1988 movie "The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking". This time she is in headlines for her negative behavior.
The TMZ mentioned that a neighbor had mad Erin get placed under citizen's arrest following a heated debate with her male roommate.
Reportedly, the male roommate cried for help and the neighbor on hearing this rushed to rescue.
The police were immediately called to for assistance and Erin was taken into custody on the suspicion of the assault.
Erin was released on Friday morning. TMZ mentioned that the assaulted roommate didn’t suffer any visible signs of injuries from the attack. The case has been reported to the DA's office.
