If you were wondering if the second release of the Nexus 7 would be included in the press conference that Google has scheduled for 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, the answer appears to be yes. Best Buy, on Tuesday, outed the specs and pricing for the device , with the price matching previous leaks .


The second version of the Nexus 7 has some nicely upgraded specs, and a slightly upgraded price, as well. It will sell for $229 in its base, 16GB wi-fi only form, and $269 for the 32GB model. It's expected there will be a cellular-capable model, as well.


The now-known specs include:


Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro 8064 (quad-core) processor with a 2MB L2 cache, 1.5Ghz Adreno 320 graphics Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) 802.11a/b/g/n wi-fi 2GB DDR3LM RAM 7" LCD high-definition 10-finger capacitive touch screen, with IPS technology, 300 cd/m² brightness, 178° viewing angles and 1920 x 1200 resolution 16GB or 32GB of on-board flash memory 5.0MP rear-facing and 1.2MP front-facing webcams Bluetooth 4.0 0.3-inches in thickness (down from 0.416 inches in the original) 11.2 oz. (down from 12 oz. in the original) G-sensor, ambient light, Ecompass, gyroscope and proximity sensors

Best Buy's pre-order pages also point to Google's press conference today including not Key Lime Pie, but another Jelly Bean release.
