The Inquisitr reported on July 10, 2013, that ' Fox & Friends' host Gretchen Carlson will be leaving Fox & Friends this fall.
Elisabeth Hasselbeck, the co-host of ABC’s 'The View', will be moving over to Fox in the fall to become the new co-host of their morning show.
Haselback will replace Gretchen Carlson, joining Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade.
She would be moving to the afternoons shows on Fox to host her own news program.
“I’m going to move forward in my career,” she said, “moving on to the afternoons here at Fox and hosting my own show coming up in September.”
On her last show, Hasselbeck said goodbye to her friends at 'The View' today morning.
Hasselbeck said in a press release: “I have been a longtime fan of Fox & Friends and am excited to be joining their team in September. It is an honor to call the Fox News Channel my new television home.”
Hasselbeck is leaving 'The View' and will join Fox News' morning show 'Fox & Friends'.
Carlson was previously the co-anchor of the Saturday Early Show, on CBS, along with Russ Mitchell.
