Definition : When Windows Explorer is in folder or search mode, the folder frame or search frame are on the left side of the window. The right side of the window is the file frame . In folder mode, the file frame shows the contents of the drive or folder that is selected in the folder frame. In search mode, the file frame shows a list of found files or folders.
