Windows Explorer has a status bar at the bottom of the window. The status bar gives you additional information like disk space used for the current location, total disk space available, how many objects exist or how many objects are selected, etc. To turn the status bar on or off, choose V iew | Status B ar.
Turn the status bar view on if it isn't already and watch it. You will find it has very useful information.
