A new computer tip every day for a year

Day 99 / 365

In Windows Explorer there are two similar but different buttons on the toolbar – the UP button and the BACK button. The UP button moves up one level from the current location (the “parent” folder or location). The BACK button moves to the location where Windows Explorer was previous to this location, much like Internet Explorer’s back button.

Unfortunately Windows 7 doesn't have the UP button anymore like its predecessor, Windows XP. This is unfortunate because it is very handy to be able to simply click to go up to the parent folder.
