On Tuesday, Sprint announced that it has turned on 4G LTE in 34 additional markets that are listed here . Sprint already offers 4G LTE in such major cities as Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Las Vegas is obviously coming soon as we were there last week and received a signal in some places.
"Today’s announcement means that even more Sprint customers can enjoy the speed and power of Sprint 4G LTE – up to 10 times faster than 3G,” said Bob Azzi, Senior Vice President-Network, Sprint. The carrier has been working hard on adding 4G LTE networks for the past couple of years. They are improving their 3G networks as well. Traveling throughout Los Angeles and Orange County over the past several months, we can safely say that their efforts are paying off.
Sprint usually has the best new phones the week they are available. They will have the iPhone 5S on Friday. Sprint users were able to get the Galaxy S4 before the official release date. The HTC One was made available only a couple weeks after it appeared on AT&T. However, unlike other carriers, Sprint has not announced the availability date for the Galaxy Note 3 . We will keep you up to date when that changes.
