According to an article from People on Jan. 29, 2013, Ashley Judd and her husband Dario Franchitti are splitting after 11 years of marriage.
"We have mutually decided to end our marriage. We'll always be family and continue to cherish our relationship based on the special love, integrity, and respect we have always enjoyed," the couple said in a statement released to People magazine.
There were no specific reasons but the couple made a decent statement to let their fans know that they wont be living together anymore.
The shocking news came amid rumors that Judd is considering running for a Senate seat in Kentucky in the upcoming 2014 elections.
Judd acted in ABC's 'Missing' and will be acting in 'Olympus Has Fallen'. Judd, 44, and Franchitti, 39, married in Scotland in 2001.
Dario Franchitti is a the three-time Indianapolis 500 winner from Scotland.
