Whether you're in New Orleans for the big game this Sunday or watching from the comfort of your home, the NFL's Super Bowl XLVII Guide is designed to keep you in the loop.

Available for Android devices on Google Play and for Apple devices on iTunes , the Super Bowl app keeps users updated with the latest news and is tailored for those who are in New Orleans to find nearby places, events and featured stores.

Before you do anything, the app lets you pick your settings. It gives you the choice of receiving general information about the Super Bowl, perfect for non-Super Bowl attenders, visitor and travel information if you're visiting the New Orleans area and game day information if you have a ticket to the game.

While the map may be cluttered after searching for an address, the list icon in the bottom-left corner lists events, dining, bars, attractions, music, NFL Shops and Super Bowl Fan Stores.

The calendar icon, second from the right, is the easiest way to find, schedule and highlight events and set alerts for 15 minutes, an hour or a day before it starts.

After choosing an event, you can buy tickets, share where you're going, get directions or highlight event by tapping the bookmark icon with a "+" symbol. You can go back to the map and click the bookmark icon, second from the right on the bottom, to highlight the events you've chosen.

Of course, one of the most important things anyone in New Orleans will need is parking information. The "P" icon on the top-right of the map will help you locate road closures, downtown and game day parking for fans and staff and numbers to call for help regarding parking.

Last but not least, every NFL fan will want to gear up for the Super Bowl by shopping for the big day.

The jersey icon in the bottom-right corner will take you to the NFL Shop's Super Bowl Section, where you can find San Francisco 49ers, Baltimore Ravens and Super Bowl gear for men women and children.

Shop Runner's free 2-day shipping will ship what you order just in time for the Super Bowl if you sign up for their free trial.

While the app's parking and shopping section isn't as mobile-friendly as its other sections, the app definitely gets the job done and it's a must if you're in town for the big game.
