Is an Apple smart watch in the works? According to a report at Business Insider, Apple is working on a smart watch, dubbed the iWatch, that sources say will be released in the future.

As with most new Apple product rumors, it can be difficult to know what the Cupertino based company has in the works. There are rumors saying Apple may be working on an iCar, which Steve Jobs had wanted to accomplish before his passing, as well as several new iPad, and iPhone models.

Nick Bilton, from the New York Times, reports Apple is in fact working on an iWatch, which he called the Apple smart watch, but says he does not have a timetable for release or any features for the gadget, other than a curved glass design to bend to people's wrists.

Bilton's report reads:

In its headquarters in Cupertino, Calif., Apple is experimenting with wristwatch-like devices made of curved glass, according to people familiar with the company’s explorations, who spoke on the condition that they not be named because they are not allowed to publicly discuss unreleased products. Such a watch would operate Apple’s iOS platform, two people said, and stand apart from competitors based on the company’s understanding of how such glass can curve around the human body.

Do you think an Apple smart watch is a possibility? Would you buy an iWatch?
