As this Internet Deals Examiner sought to logon to her Chase personal checking and business accounts on Friday, Chase.com returned unusual 'Server is too busy' and '500: Server Error [%s]' errors instead of the normal account features once the customers passwords are entered.
Apparently, I'm not alone in asking and wondering whether Chase.com is down today, or worse yet, has been hacked on Friday, February 15, 2013 -- a day that's payday for many people, including me.
On Twittter, Srinath Kota had the foresight to ask Chase Support if Chase.com is indeed down.
"I can't login into my account," he wrote at approximately 10:00 a.m. ET. "It keeps throwing server is busy error after login."
Thankfully, the Chase Support team at https://twitter.com/ChaseSupport just replied:
*ALERT* Chase Online is experiencing intermittent issues. We are working to resolve and will keep you updated.
Matthew Warren Cole also wrote about the issue on Twitter, tweeting, "Chase website fail: 500: Server Error [%s]."
Here's hoping and praying Chase will resolve this issue safely and soon, and with all our monies in tact. And perhaps a few thousand dollars extra in my account? One can dream...
