Commander Andrew Smith of the Los Angeles Police has asked media in helicopters with live aerial video coverage to not display the video news coverage of the actual SWAT team officers in the standoff with murder suspect Christopher Dorner, in the event that Dorner himself is watching the live TV coverage, so the media will not tip their tactical advantage in the manhunt.
Indeed, live video coverage from KTLA, which initially displayed the sight of smoke coming from a cabin in the 7 Oaks Mountain Cabins area, has been changed to live video coverage here on ABC7 of the current roadblocks displaying police with guns drawn checking cars leaving Big Bear:

"If he is watching this, our message is enough is enough," Cmdr. Smith told Dorner via a recent press conference. "It's time to turn yourself in."
A signal with Air 7 HD recently showed a faraway shot of a police helicopter circling the area closer than the news helicopter, however the signal was lost and turned back off, due to the difficulty of signals in the mountainous area.
It is a tense and serious situation, especially in light of the fact that Dorner exchanged fire earlier today with officers, two of whom have been airlifted to Loma Linda Hospital with their condition being unknown at the moment.
