A new grammar pen vibrates to help inform those writing with it of any spelling or grammar mistakes. The pen is currently a prototype design created by a German company, and will start to get promotional funding throughout this month.
As reported by Smash Hits on Feb. 5, the new pen isn't available just yet, as the creators will look to raise funds for development and marketing of their new idea. However, it seems like the concept could see the light of day in the future. It features built-in sensors which detect mistakes based on the way letters are formed when written down. The pen will also point out any orthographic, legibility or form mistakes.
So what inspired the grammar pen that vibrates? Falk and Mandy Wolsky, who are the creators of Lernsift, were apparently inspired by their son as he made his first attempts to learn writing. The new pen has yet to receive an official release date, but sound as if it could be quite helpful in school systems.
What do you think of the tech idea of a pen that vibrates to notify students or others of their mistakes? Good idea for schools, or could it lead to any future issues?
