CVS has just released a new coupon code, perhaps trying to offer a little goodwill to the public in the wake of a scandal, whereby the pharmacy retail giant told employees around the nation that they've got to provide details about their weight and other health information, or pay $600 extra for health coverage per year.

The company announced Wednesday a "A Plan for Health," that contains rewards and penalties for employees, wherein employees must report their weight, body fat, cholesterol, blood pressure and blood sugar levels.
"Welcoming spring with 20% OFF SITEWIDE," read a popular promo from CVS today. "Just enter coupon code 20DEAL at Checkout."
CVS making it mandatory to report their weight and body fat, or else they face a $600 per year penalty. CVS told everyone using their health plan that they have until May 1, 2014, to get things like their weight, height and other body factors examined. Their benefits program is evolving to help manage health-associated costs.
"The plan is called voluntary but it seems anything but," wrote one reader about the new CVS policy.
CVS never sees the results of the medical tests, says the company, and they are sent to an independent company.
