There’s been a lot of media reports recently about Facebook and their announcement of a new Android event coming soon. There wasn’t much in their announcement hinting to what this could be, and speculation has been running rampant about what exactly this could be.
Many people are speculating that we could have another Facebook phone. After the disaster that was their last one some people think Facebook may be trying to prove themselves in this arena, others think it would be stupid for Facebook to try again at something that failed so horribly.
A new rumor has started, as announced by the Wall Street Journal, which says that instead of this announcement being a new Facebook phone Facebook will be announcing a new Android home screen dedicated to Facebook. It will display content from users Facebook feeds on the smartphone home screen. This will most likely debut on HTC phones and work its way out to other Android devices.
