iPhone 6 release date rumors are hitting the Internet ahead of the 2013 Apple keynote. A report posted today at Gameranx says new iPhone parts "have been spotted in the wild," while sources say the technology giant is testing their 7th generation handset, dubbed the iPhone 6, ahead of schedule.

Additional rumors claim the new iPhone from Apple might be a "refresh" of the latest model, adding it would likely be called the iPhone 5S. Some analysts are predicting the Cupertino based company may intend to launch both the 5S, and the iPhone 6 this year.

Leaked images from an assembly line in China what is believed to be aluminum frames for the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 6. If these leaked parts are indeed for two upcoming handsets, does that mean Apple will launch them both this year? Usually a new iPhone is launched once a year, so this would be a change for Apple.

Whether Apple plans for both a iPhone 5S, and a iPhone 6 release date this year is unconfirmed but tech lovers are expecting, in the least, an updated processor. Meanwhile, iOS game fanatics are hoping for a tactile display with buttons that emerge from the glass when you need to type.

Do you think Apple is planning to launch two smartphones this year? What would you like to see on the next iPhone in 2013?

Other rumors for new Apple products claim the company is working on a "smart watch" dubbed the iWatch, and will possibly be venturing into the car industry at some point with the Apple iCar.
