Two teenage football players from Steubenville, Ohio, were found guilty in the teen rape case that has been gaining mass coverage across the U.S., and and on all the social networks. Radar Online reported on Sunday, March 17 that Judge Thomas Lipps announced his decision finding the two Steubenville, Ohio teenage boys both guilty of raping a 16-year-old girl.


The rape verdict has blown up on the social networks today, revealing that Twitter user's still remain both shocked, and split about the case.


Judge Thomas Lipps spent his Sunday deciding the fate of the two teenager boys, 17-year-old Trent Mays, and 16-year-old, Ma'lik Richmond, in the huge controversial Ohio teen rape case, that has impacted the entire nation.


Both, teenage boys were tried as adults, and both, are facing jail time until they turn 21. The judge decided on his decision after listening to the engrossing testimony of the 16-year-old rape victim just hours before.


The young victim, took the stand on Saturday, describing the horrifying experience, and breaking down into tears as she spoke in front of the judge of her horrifying experience.


The Ohio teenage rape victim, who, was allegedly extremely drunk revealed how she believe she may have been drugged, and was partying with the boys last August. She claims that she passed out, and had no recollection of what happened to her until, she woke up “with no clothes on.”


It wasn't until the following day that she claims she learned of all the text messages, and videos about the night, even the videos of boys talking about raping her, that she began to understand what happened.


The piece of evidence was one of the most disturbing and aided in the girls case was the a photo of the accused teenage Steubenville, Ohio football players carrying the apparently semi-conscious girl by her hands and legs that was posted on Instagram.


Trent Mays, 17, and Ma’lik Richmond, 16 were both sobbing as the verdict was laid down. Both teens broke down in tears after the verdict was read, and apologized to the victim, and to the community.


Both were emotional as they spoke, and the 16-year-old struggled at times to talk through his sobs.


"My life is over," he said as he collapsed in the arms of his lawyer.


The father of the 16-year-old asked the victims' family to forgive the teens, while the 17-year-old apologized for taking a photo of the girl that was posted online and fueled speculation over what happened that night.
