The NY Daily reported on April 1, 2013, that British singer Freddie Mercury helped his close friend , the elegant Princess Diana snuck into a gay bar using disguise in the ‘80s.

Amazingly the princess went largely unnoticed at the bar by fans.

In late 1980s Freddie Mercury, the flamboyant singer helped the always elegant princess Diana, get disguised and helped her get in the Royal Vauxhall Tavern in South Tavern, London.

Diana was clad oddly in a bulky army jacket and a cap with dark sunglasses as a comely young male model. Amazingly, this cross-dressing helped the globally famed royal go unrecognized.

However fans had quickly noticed Mercury with TV personality Cleo Rocos and Kenny Everett, a TV entertainer.

This incident was recounted in the new book “The Power of Positive Drinking” by Cleo Rocos saying that they thought that Diana would be discovered soon and absolutely no one detected her. He says that she did look beautiful in that attire. Unfortunately Rocos is the only surviving person of the foursome (Mercury, Rocos, Diana and Everett )who went to the bar.
