Google has produced a logo or doodle for today. It is Earth Day. The logo has movement (fish swimming and birds flying) and, when the sun is clicked, it shows several day and night scenes with the sun and moon moving across the sky. You can even see it rain and snow. Click on the sun, which is a play button (or click on the clouds or field), and the movie starts. You can watch the day/night scenes and you even see water dripping off of the image on the right. See the doodle here .
Move the mouse rapidly back and forth across the image and you will see swirls forming and then disappearing. Click on the clouds and you will see it rain and snow and see other movement. At the right end of the image is a "search" magnifying glass which takes you to a search page for "Earth Day."
Google celebrates holidays, birthdays of famous people and other events such as earth day by changing their logo. You can see all of the logos from the past here .
