The Yahoo News reported on April 23, 2013, that star Olivia Newton-John has postponed her performance in Las Vegas. It happened due to the sad news of the diagnosis of cancer to her elder sister Rona.
The 64-year-old Olivia Newton-John herself fought bravely with the deadly breast cancer 20 years ago.
She expressed her sorrow stating that Rona has been diagnosed with brain cancer. Looking at this, she has postponed her upcoming Vegas gig and has decided to spend some time with her sister and their family.
Further, she said that she had been battling with cancer herself, so she knows how much care, love and support is needed by cancer patients.
Quoting Olivia, the Yahoo news mentioned, "I want to thank everyone in advance for respecting our privacy during this difficult time."
Olivia Newton-John has got rid of the disease due to her treatment and a mastectomy.
