When you sign on to Pinterest , you will soon be seeing an invitation to the new look that will eventually roll out for everyone. (See Our New Look, More Ways to Discover What You Love ). Some of the changes include:


People who pinned this also pinned: Below each pins are other pins from the same users. When you click on a pin, you can scroll through browse all the pins on a board without leaving the page. Other pins from: You will be able to discover other pins that came from the same website.

Look


With the new look, you will find that the pins are bigger allowing you to see more of the pin without clicking on it. Also, after you click on a pin and want to go back to where you were browsing, just click the back button. You will land right in the same place you were.


The "Repin button" has been changed to "Pin It," and it is red. Click the share button to share pins via Twitter, Facebook, e-mail or to embed.


Functionality


You have a few less steps for rearranging boards. Just drag the board to the position that you want it to be, and it will save automatically. The steps to edit your profile and account has changed:


The way you edit your profile info and account settings has changed (see Pinterest's New Look ).


Edit your profile:


Click your name at the top right of Pinterest to go to your profile Click the pencil on your profile Edit your name, username, profile description, location, or website

Edit your account settings:


Hover over the profile menu Click Account Settings Change your password, update your email address, or change your email notification settings

A few advantages for Pinterest marketers are:


Pinterest users can now learn more about you and the content you share when they click on a pin. They will be able to browse your latest pins from different boards on the same page. Pinterest users can quickly scroll through other pins on the same board to the right of each pin. Larger pins means more visibility for each of your pins.
