Knock-Knock! Anyone home Mars? Obviously, there must be someone to welcome when the Earthlings decide to become Martians.
Around 78,000 applicants desired to live for the rest of their life on Mars. Let us wait to see who qualifies for the trip.
The journey to the Red Planet Mars is one way, so they won’t be getting any return tickets.
Many of the applicants will be starred on a reality TV show prior selection. The funds for this project will be given by the reality TV show.
Doesn’t this idea seem crazy? The reality show would make thousands of people vote for choosing the suitable candidates.
Around 2015, the TV show will be able to get approx. 30-40 finalists. These finalists will be further split in groups to compete for the Mars mission. So, just one group that would win will get the opportunity to live on Mars.
According to the Inquisitir, "The Mars One colony project 'plans to pay most of the bills by staging a global reality-TV event, with cameras documenting all phases of the mission from astronaut selection to the colonists' first years on the Red Planet."
Will they really send them to Mars? Or will they waste time of people by just making fun as in for the April Fool’s day?
