Many Apple users think Siri is useless or not as good as she is hyped up to be. Today, however, it was revealed that Siri is quite brilliant; she remembers whatever you say to her for two years. Naturally, this has raised some red flags.

Apple told Wired.com that anything said to Siri is stored on Apple servers for up to two years. This is the first time that Apple has said how long it keeps Siri data. However, according to an American Civil Liberties Union lawyer, there is still more Apple should disclose.

According to Apple, the company takes steps to ensure that the data is anonymized and only collects the Siri voice clips in order to improve Siri itself. This does make a lot of sense. How is Siri going to improve if lawsuits prevent Apple from using data to improve her capabilities? Let's hope greedy lawyers leave Apple alone; Siri may not be perfect, but she is getting better each day.
