It was reported on May 24, 2013, that a person committed suicide by jumping from a 11 storey building in Busan, Korea. The jumper jumped on a 5-year-old and killed her too.
Korea which has the highest suicide rate in the world is shocked with the incident.
The 39-year-old man died instantly but landed on the 5-year-old girl who was walking along with her parents on the footpath outside the apartment.
The girl was immediately taken to the nearby hospital, but was later declared dead due to injuries including brain damage and many broken bones
The reason behind the suicide is not yet known. There is no suicide note found with the victim too.
The person who was committed suicide might not have imagined that he might drop on the 5-year-old girl when he was jumping. However the parents of the girl were unharmed.
South Korea which has a which has a population of 49 million is reportedly taking steps to prevent suicides but still around 50 people commit suicide everyday.
