The USA Today reported on May 12, 2013, that the royal baby due date has been revealed to be July 13, the middle of the Queen Elizabeth's Coronation Festival .
A friend of the royal couple mentioned that the Duchess Kate Middleton revealed the date at a family barbecue.
Only some of the closest friends of the royal couple were invited at a barbecue hosted by one of their family friends recently.
On asking about the due date of the future monarch, the revelation came from Kate Middleton.
Quoting the source, the USA Today mentioned, "They were all discussing the fact that Kate’s baby is due to be born on July 13. Everyone was very excited."
July 13 date actually comes in the mid of the Queen Elizabeth's Coronation Festival to be held from July 11 to July 14. This year it will be 60th Anniversary of the crowning ceremony.
The news of the baby’s sex came through the royal representatives who have reported it to be a boy.
If the due date is July 13, it seems both the Duchess and Duke will not be present during the festivities.
