Yesterday, it was announced that Verizon may indeed receive the world's greatest smartphone, the HTC One , in May. This comes on the heals of the announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S4 for Verizon. Even though they are getting these smartphones a little later than other carriers, Verizon's portfolio of smartphones has become almost perfect.
Even when Verizon is criticized for being behind -- at least when it comes to carrying the latest smartphones -- their service is top-notch and has been rated the best by almost every consumer poll in the past ten years. A Verizon rep once told me, "You get what you pay for!" when I complained about the high cost of service when compared to that of other carriers. Their motto has not only been proven correct, but profitable as well.
In celebration of Verizon getting the two greatest new phones, we thought it would be a great time to list the top five smartphones that strengthened their brand. Let us know if you think we left something out.
