The list of speakers at the recent Citizen Hearing on Disclosure seemed to have one important omission - UFO-Nukes expert Robert Hastings.
Hastings organized the "UFOs and Nukes" press conference in Washington D.C. on September 27, 2010.
The Stephen Bassett-organized event April 29 - May 3, 2013, included important testimony from many credible sources including Director of the National UFO Reporting Center Peter Davenport and UFO researcher Kevin Randle.
The event even included four retired military veterans from Hastings' own list of 140 that he personally interviewed about UFO activity.
In a story released May 17 by Hastings, it was clear Bassett had invited him - "pestered actually" - but he declined the invitation stating that he believed "the negatives would outweigh the positives."
Hastings went on to acknowledge the event's good points, but did not want to be involved with research he considers below average.
"Bassett has never vetted his witnesses, refuses to do so, probably doesn't even know how, and it frequently showed. So, it's not surprising that there was more than a little BS, wishful thinking, and unwitting participation in hoaxes and disinformation ops."
