Craig Federighi, senior vice president of Software Engineering at Apple Inc., got strong attraction at the company’s annual developers conference on Monday, where he presented the forthcoming Mac and iOS in a 30-minute demo. During the presentation, he was found as the most natural and humorous person on stage.
Previously, Craig Federighi worked at NeXT, where he led development of the Enterprise Objects Framework. After leaving NeXT, he worked for Apple Inc. for a short time. Then he joined Ariba, an enterprise software company to help other companies handle their expenditures, where he reached the position of chief technology officer.
Federighi again joined Apple in 2009. He succeeded Bertrand Serlet as vice president of Mac Software Engineering at Apple in March, 2011 and promoted to senior vice president in August, 2012. In October, 2012, his role was expanded, after the Scott Forstall's departure from Apple. Since then he is working for Apple's mobile and Mac software groups, and is responsible for the features strengthening the iPhone, iPad and Mac. He reports directly to CEO Tim Cook.
Mr. Federighi is also considered as one of the most responsive executives of Apple. He has the habit of replying emails promptly and often declines social invitations that are often due to the work, as other people say.

Nik Fletcher, product manager for app maker Realmac Software Ltd., said Mr. Federighi was "personable, effusive and passionate about all the stuff he was announcing," at Monday's keynote, which he watched from the audience. "You could say he set the tone and personality for the new Apple that appeared yesterday."
