The Inquisitr reported on July 23, 2013, that Kids II has issued a recall of over 400,000 Baby Einstein Activity Jumpers due to an injury hazard.
Reportedly around 61 injuries due to the baby activity seat have been recorded. The sun shaped toy attachment in the activity seat has a tendency to snap back with force and injure the infant.
The company has received complaints of suffering bruises and cuts. One of the complaints received state that a 7-month-old sustained a skull fracture.
Another complaint mentioned that an adult got a chipped tooth because of the defective part.
Baby Einstein Musical Motion Activity Jumpers with model number 90564 have been recalled.
It should be noted that the model number can be seen on a tag attached to the undersurface of the seat.
The company has announced that the Baby Einstein Activity Jumpers made before Nov. 2011 have also been included in recall.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission has instructed the consumers to stop using the activity jumper at once and contact Kids II for the faulty product.
