Hostgator's message board , which gives updates for their sites when an outage has occurred. The board was pretty standard information of we're aware of the problem and are working on it, though it did mention it was a routing issue within their Provo Data Center. The issue is affecting shared, reseller, VPS, and dedicated servers with that data center, which is owned by Ace Data Centers. There was no estimated time of resolution, but HostGator says it is “working diligently to resolve the issue.” Some customers were still experiencing issues Friday night.
