Google has hidden away a plethora of hidden delights over the years in its different online tools, and Google Maps is no slouch when it comes to the Easter Eggs.

Technorati top 100 Autos and Top Overall blog listing Jalopnik discovered one particular Easter Egg in the Maps interface that should make fans of popular British SciFi series Dr. Who very, very happy.

According to Jalopnik writer Patrick George, you can visit Google Maps and find your way to the 300 block of London's Earl's Court Road, and locate a particular blue police phone box. Choose to enter the box by clicking on the double white arrows on the road by the box, and you'll be transported to a 360 degree view of the Doctor's time machine, front and center.

Unfortunately, if you've already enrolled in the new beta version of Google Maps, this won't work. So find a browser you're not logged into Google with, and give it a shot.

Visit George's post to learn more, then click on this link to land in front of the mysterious phone box to begin your Google Maps adventure.

Cool or what?
