Facebook's current New York City office digs inside the Bank of America Tower isn't cutting it anymore, which is why the social media giant plans on moving to a new building space close to NYU.

Back in June, Serkan Piantino, Facebook's New York engineering boss, revealed plans to move into a massive two-floor building that will be "double the size" of their current location.

"Our new office is around 100,000 square feet and takes up two floors of an existing building," he said. "It's almost double the size of our current space and gives us room to grow even further. That means big, open spaces for people to work and collaborate, and lots of room for conference rooms and cozy spaces where people can meet or grab a white board to talk through ideas on a whim."

Today we get a glimpse of what things will look like once the project, spearhead by legendary architect Frank Gehry, is complete. Piantino posted several images of miniature models on Facebook, showcasing how enormous the space really is.
