Sports Illustrated reported on Sep 29, 2013 that the 6-foot-2, 185-pound high profile player did not mince words in his reaction to the USC head coach’s firing.

One of the top 10 wide receiver recruits of the Class of 2015, Broadus was offered by USC in April. The 16-year-old has other offers from LSU, Nebraska, California and UCLA.

Brodus felt that USC is going to raise the bar because of the new coaching staff next year and he is anxious to see what they are going to look like. Snoop Dogg - who is Calvin Broadus in reality, is a Trojans fan and has attended practice at USC.

It was not only Snoop Dogg’s son who happy to hear that Kiffin has gone. Some recruits said that they knew it was coming and the firing wasn’t a real shock while one recruit, even said that he was a little happy. Ed Orgeron has been named the head coach for the Trojans in the meantime and no other firings took place.

USC announced Kiffin's firing after the Trojans lost their game against Arizona State 62-41 on Saturday.
