According to iTechPost , Wal-Mart is giving us a sure sign that the iPhone 5 is on the way. On Sept. 2 they reported that Wal-Mart has dropped the iPhone 5 price from $128 to $98. It's not a monumental price drop, but we all know what it means: Time to clear the shelves for the newest Apple must-have device.
Rumors indicate that on Sept. 10, or Sept. 20, as some sources are reporting, Apple will release the iPhone 5s, and the budget-friendly iPhone 5c. Apple has also been rumored to be releasing an iPad, though it isn't expected that the iPad will be released at the same time as the phone, based on their previous actions.
However, 10-inch iPads and iPad 2s have also seen a price slash of $50, according to CNN Money . The iPad mini’s price remains the same.
Though we did mention that $128 down to $98 isn’t an astonishing reduction, compared to some other retailers who are selling the phone for $200, this deal is really tempting and is a super smart move by the store.
Maybe this would be the time to upgrade the kids for a slightly more reasonable cost. Pr if you’re a frugal college student looking for a deal, this could just be what you’ve been looking for.
