Kmart is ringing in the holiday season with a sexy Joe Boxer commercial that some have deemed as too risqué. The one minute spot is raising eyebrows. The commercial features six men dressed in tuxedo tops and Joe Boxer bottoms. The boxers are holiday themed and the men perform a Christmas song by shaking their “bootie” to the beat of the music as if they were “silver bells”.

The video is a cute homage to the Christmas season. It’s really no more risqué than the Rockettes performance every year at the Radio City Music Hall. Unfortunately not everyone has my sense of humor. Viewers took to Kmart’s Facebook page to complain about how “distasteful” and “disgusting” they believe the video is.

Susan York from Texas says: “Just watched your Christmas commercial with the guys in the boxer shorts, shaking their "bells". Funny but surely you could have come up with something a little more appropriate. Lots of kids watching and my thought is maybe your company should have a little more "bells" and take a stand against something like this. I would have been more apt to shop in your store if you would have a commercial honoring our groups than shaking your "bells" Just saying.”

Michael Sullivan added, “If the Joe boxer commercial had featured women in pink shuffling their collective asses, then no one on earth would say Boo. This is offensive to some because they (a) have no sense of humor (b) are feminists that despise anything that includes the masculine because all feminists are by definition sexist (c) are stupid (d) all of the above....I think the commercial does a great job of Raising awareness of testicular existence....Ha Ha.....PS. If I have to look at NFL players in pink all November long, then you can shove it for a 35 second ad for Mens underwear......Great Commercial!”

As you can see people are on both sides of the fence for this new commercial. Take a look at the commercial and judge for yourself. Do you like the commercial or do you think it's too much?
