Madonna, the material girl, has been rated as the highest paid musician for 2013 by Forbes Magazine.

The Inquisitr on November 20 said that the rating comes based on Madonna’s earnings between June 2012 and May 2013. The amount that flowed into her bank account was nothing less than $125 million during the period.
And in the process of emerging on top, Madonna has trumped biggies such as Rihanna, Paul McCartney and others.
Finishing at second spot is Lady Gaga, with a cool $80 million in earnings, while Bon Jovi trailed Lady Gaga so close with $79 million.
Forbes has said that Toby Keith became the highest paid country artist this year with earnings topping $65 million.
