PAX East 2014, the upcoming Penny Arcade-sponsored gaming festival, started its ticket sales on October 24, and is officially sold out of any attendee passes.
Less than an hour after registration opened, the event’s initial allocation of three-day passes sold out. Now, all attendee badges are completely sold out. This year’s PAX Prime (pictured above) also sold out less than hour after its registration opened in April.
An FAQ was posted here on November 1 addressing frustrations over tickets selling out so quickly.
The prominence has grown exponentially for these Penny Arcade Expo events. PAX Prime 2013 marked the first four-day festival and hosted the Season 3 North American Regionals for the popular PC game, League of Legends.
