A couple of days must have passed since Typhoon Haiyan lashed across The Philippines and left around 1700 dead.


The nation however hasn’t yet come to terms with the catastrophe.


Everywhere in the storm-ravaged territory would you find bloated bodies around.


According to CBS News report on November 12, almost everywhere lifeless bodies can be found.


The report says bodies have piled up in streets, on bridges, in the water and in front of houses.


The rushing waters that came as a result f Haiyan make them float around much to the distress of all engaged in relief activities. See photo slide show.


The 147-mph winds and the huge walls of seawater have ruined many a life.


Residents who survived, but lost all means of livelihood, are scampering for food and the sight and smell of dead bodies around add to their miseries.


There have also been instances when people who survived the onslaught of the storm identify their dead relatives find it difficult to take them along as the stench is unbearable.
