Whenever I see a URL going viral on Alexa.com's "What's Hot" list, I know there's something to it. That's how I learned about Sverve, a website that apparently offers bloggers money and compensation in the form of products or exposure to promote their brands.

This Internet Deals Examiner logged on and applied for a few campaigns that looked interesting, the one that offered "Compensation: $2 per signup" for telling people about Sverve, the same link that was going viral that caught my attention.

In order to get that $2 per signup, bloggers have to use the invite link provided after applying for that specific campaign.

Billing itself as a platform for influential mom bloggers to publish their good stuff and let others know about the website, Sverve pays everything they owe their users each Saturday via the PayPal address entered in their accounts, all amounts greater than $5, that is.

This blogger signed up for the website that I wasn’t sure I was a part of anyway, using Facebook to automatically do so. Then I begrudged the fact that I couldn’t use the information from some of my highest-trafficked websites because Sverve requires bloggers to be able to enter HTML code on their website links claimed in their profile, and then they verify this code has been placed there, no doubt to double-check the unique visitors and page view numbers claimed are accurate.

No word on how long it takes for an approval to certain campaigns, but here’s hoping it’s profitable for many of writers and us so-called Mommy bloggers.
