A new video circulating around Facebook caught this Examiner’s eye. A beautiful three month old boxer pup known as Duncan Lou Who was running and playing, amazingly, only on two legs. Duncan was born with twisted and severely formed back legs.
The legs were so severely twisted they threatened to damage his spine. He was sent to Panda Paws Rescue . The rescue is a Vancouver-Washington based center that helps special needs animals. The center decided to remove his back legs entirely.
According to Today a spokesperson from the center said Duncan was recovering well. Though the center usually puts up pets it treats for adoption, Amanda Giese, from the center decided to keep Duncan.
Duncan is currently undergoing physical and aqua therapy. He was already balancing on his front legs and dragging his back ones around. Now that the back legs have been removed, doctors say it will be easier for him to walk without the added weight.
