You know the Google doodles. The special Google logos for special occasions. Birthdays of famous people and holidays are the usual subjects for doodles. Now you can make your own Google Doodle and at the same time you could win a $30,000 scholarship and a $50,000 technology grant for your school. This contest is open to all kids Kindergarten through 12th grade.
The theme for the doodle contest is " If I Could Invent One Thing to Make the World a Better Place... " Create a doodle using this theme and enter the contest. Then submit your entry at Google's contest entry page . You have to hurry, though - the contest ends a week from today on March 20, 2014.
If you are a teacher why not have your students do an art project and your school may win some money for technology. Have them put on their thinking caps and let the creative juices flow and maybe one of them will come up with the winning doodle.
