A Delaware witness traveling on a bus southbound along I-95 near the Bear/Glasgow exit reported watching a gray, blimp-like object "rapidly descending with smoke trailing behind it" that appeared to crash or land about 7:20 a.m. on April 29, 2014, according to testimony in Case 55870 from the Mutual UFO Network ( MUFON ) witness reporting database.
"It landed in a marshy area on or near the Christiana River, made a splash and may have burnt some of the reeds," the witness stated.
The witness attempted to get a photo, but reportedly could not due to the speed of the bus.
"I could not get a good image in time. Other people on the bus also saw this happen."
Delaware MUFON is investigating.
