What’s better than holding a remote in your hand, sitting in the recliner with your favorite beverage and……Vacuuming the floors or carpets? If you say “Nothing” well then you need to pay attention to the Deebot D77 Robotic Vacuum Cleaner.
First, lets look at its major pros (prefaced by there are no cons)

So how was it tested? Residing in a house with 1 hamster, 1 guinea pig, 1 dog and 4 birds, it easily gets its daily drive. This doesn’t include the daily spills and messes whose dirt can pile up on rugs, floors, etc.
It was tested on four types of flooring; Berber carpeting, shag carpeting, hardwood and ceramic tile flooring. The messes at first were the usual; pet hair, feathers and dust. Then it got more extreme with man made (non accidental) spills of dirt, rice pilaf and bird seed.
Performance was nothing short of amazing. It came off its base and simply went around the flooring doing what it does best. When the phrase “it sucks” is used, it is meant as a full on compliment. It does that perfectly.
One thing that was really noticed was the Deebots ability to clean the sides and corners where other hand held and upright vacuums couldn’t reach. Sure, a shop type vacuum with a crevice tool will do the same thing, but it is heavy, it is loud and you as the user has to dump the debris. It even has a stair sensor to detect the edge of a floor so it does not fall down the stairway.
As the owner of a Deebot D77, your hands will never get dirty, as it has automatic canister emptying when back on the base. This is a feature that (at time of publishing) that NO OTHER robotic vacuum system can boast.
It boasts a +/- 100 minutes of battery time, but in testing, it appeared to be closer to 2 hours.
