It’s that time of year again. Procrastinators unite. Set your alarm for 5:00 AM. Be at the shopping center for 6:00 AM. Lie in wait for the doors to open and do your best Wilma and Betty imitation; da da da da, da da, CHARGE IT.
So have all the products they really want gone by the wayside? If so, don’t despair. Here is a list of techie gifts for him, her, them or the kids that will be sure to make them happy with out truly breaking your bank. These are products that are sure to be in stock for those last minute byers.
If you are looking for something for the kids or the kid in him or her, look no further than the Nintendo 3DSxl. It’s bigger, badder and cooler than any of the DS or 3DS line. Pair it with a couple of good games, and anyone can be entertained for the long haul.
For the whole family, I suggest the NYNE Aqua Bluetooth speaker. It floats, so take it to the pool. During the winter, hang it from the shower head or let it float in the tub as you serenade yourself or even your whole family from the comfort of hot water.
For those that really do keep the “I’m gonna lose weight” resolution, hook them up with the Jabra Pulse Wireless headset. It fits snuggly in your ears and with the free app from Jabra, will take your pulse during any activity.
In keeping with the new years resolution bit, give some thought to the Vivofit from Garmin. It is a wrist watch, it’s a fitness tracker, it’s a heart rate monitor all rolled into one.
Don’t forget grooming products from Philips, which include shavers, trimmers, etc.
Be sure to check out local shops such as Gamestop for used electronics. There was one that advertised an iPad Mini (refurbished) for $159. Whenever you think you can’t out do last year, do some research and you will.
If you are fast enough, you can still find all of the above at Amazon.com .
Have a happy and joyous everything.
