With the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show kicking off this week, manufacturers are slowly beginning to reveal new tech products ranging from TVs to wearables and PC-components, to name a few.
LG today started off by unveiling three new OLED TV sets in their 4K (UHD) line - the 77-inch Flexible 4K OLED TV (Model 77EG9900), 65-inch Floating Art Slim CURVED 4K OLED TV (Model 65EG9600) and 55-inch Floating Art Slim Flat 4K OLED TV (Model 55EF9500).
The company hasn't yet announced any price points for either set but the TVs have already been recognized by the Consumer Electronics Association with 2015 CES Innovation Awards.
"LG is driving innovation by making this superb TV technology available to more consumers," said In-kyu Lee, senior vice president and head of the TV and monitor division at the LG Electronics Home Entertainment Company. "LG believes this is where the future of television is headed and we're going to continue developing and expanding our OLED offerings until it becomes a viable option for all consumers."
LG has also announced that they have new partners in relation to its WebOS platform on their TV line, which will give consumers more access to HD and 4K/UHD content through streaming apps in their upcoming TVs. GoPro, DIRECTV, Netflix, Amazon, YouTube, HSN, SHOWTIME, Drama Fever and iHeartRadio are just a few of the new partners.
