Do you have a smart phone? How about a phablet ? Is it either Android or iOS? Well then, now, you can deep six your digital thermometer, your scanning thermometer, and never buy one again. This is due to the Kinsa smart thermometer, which has been released by Kinsa Health.
For testing purposes, an iPod 5th gen, an iPhone 5c running iOS 8.2, and Samsung Galaxy tab 3 running kit kat were used.
Setup was so simple. First to be done is to download the “Kinsa” app from the app store or Google Play .
Once the devices recognized the thermometer, it was extremely easy to create user profiles. These profiles are able to keep track of temperature readings as well as allowing input of medical data, symptoms, etc.
The readings (orally) took less than 10 seconds. Under the arm took the same amount of time. Although it allows for rectal, this was not tested.
All things being equal, It is time to NEVER buy another thermometer again once you have bought the Kinsa smart thermometer.
