Whenever people read surveys produced by mega-research companies, there is a certain amount of cynicism or doubt about the veracity of the final results. The same holds true for polls that are conducted on the popularity of movies, consumer goods, and other topics.
BuzzVote is a new app that gives your everyday citizen a chance to “change the world” by contributing to the e-consciousness of people through the participation of user-generated surveys, according to a company email sent out today by Bruce Spector, CEO of the BuzzVote app.
What BuzzVote does
BuzzVote is a “user generated Social Polling and Viral Voting platform.” In plain language this means an app that allows users to generate their own polls or surveys on any topic they wish.
In addition, the BuzzVote editors contribute to the polling landscape by posting their own topics for the BuzzVote community to vote on.
A new social network
BuzzVote makes it easy for individuals to share their questions with others using Twitter and Facebook. People can follow their favorite BuzzVote people, and a leaderboard keeps a constant tally of the top Buzzers.
Practical and for fun
If you’ve ever wondered about which movies are the best to go see, but are confused by all the hype generated by the movie studios, you can post a simple question to see who likes it and who doesn’t. Want to find out what everybody thinks about the latest Nikki Minaj song? All you need to do is post up a survey.
But BuzzVote can also be light-hearted as well: If Darth Vader was in an octagon ring with Superman, who would win the fight? You get the idea.
BuzzVote is a free app and can be downloaded from the iTunes App Store and Google Play.
