Lollapalooza is a three-day music festival taking over the historic Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois, USA, from August 2 - 4, 2013. Tuesday their "Early Bird" tickets went on sale and immediately sold out, causing the wrath of Twitter to awaken.
"Due to extreme demand, Lollapalooza 2013 Early Bird passes are SOLD OUT! Regular 3-Day passes are now available for purchase. In the meantime, please review the information below so you are prepared when you leave this standby page," read the website.
Naturally, Twitter went crazy with responses from fans, some of whom complained about the slow-loading or crashing website. Some fans scored their tickets, while others complained about it not working:
"Secured myself some @lollapalooza early bird tickets #summertimechi #6years," wrote one fan about 32 seconds ago.
"Early bird tickets sold out in 7 min. Was on the page right at 11 and didn't get one," complained another.
And the backlash and celebration on Twitter continues on...
