The Yahoo News reported on March 26, 2013, that a man who stabbed two men and seriously injured a 16-year-old girl in Pittsburgh Target store on Monday has finally been arrested by the police.
The girl was escorted to the Children's Hospital in critical condition. However, the police later reported that her condition became serious.
In the hospital, the suspect and a police officer were treated for the pepper spray exposure. An onlooker who complained of chest pains was also immediately sent to a hospital.
The alleged man broke into the store in the East Liberty area following a fight in the nearby location.
According to police spokeswoman Diane Richard, the suspect was seen pursuing one of his chasers from a Target restroom.
In order to save himself, he ran towards the checkout lanes and caught a teenage girl who was standing with her family members. Using the girl as hostage, he started brandishing the knife.
Dominique Gomez of Wilkinsburg stated to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review that the suspect was shouting that he had been robbed.
