The Dailymail reported on March 20, 2013, that a person by name Brad Kollar Kollar blew himself up on Tuesday injuring two other people outside the house of William Shaner in western Pennsylvania.
Police initially suspected methamphetamine lab is the cause of the blast. Later, the investigations revealed the details of the incident.
Kollar’s body was found strapped with bombs inside his truck. He had parked his truck in front of a home near Patton, at a distance of about 70 miles towards the east of Pittsburgh.
Shaner was inside the building at time of the blast near Pittsburgh. He was immediately escorted to Altoona Regional hospital and later moved to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. According to the reports, he is in a critical condition.
As the explosion was severe, the house got completely leveled.
Nothing has been revealed regarding the reason behind Kollar's suicide. However, the police stated that he had to appear in court on Tuesday for the charges of keeping stolen vehicles, explosives and chemicals.
It was reported that the deceased man had blamed Mr. Shaner for handing him over to the police.
The Mirror quoted Luke J. Lansberry, whose house faces the destroyed home "I just think it's scary, this close to home,"
Randy Slovikosky, who owns a nearby landscaping business, commented,"There's a bunch of kids that live around here."
